On this day excursion from Fez, enjoy the beauty and cool air of the Middle Atlas region, situated at a height of 1350 metres in the Atlas Mountain range.

Explore Azrou, a Berber village built at an altitude of 1250 metres and home of the Berber tribes, Morocco’s earliest inhabitants.Watch Berber men tending their herds, milling flour, plying their crafts, specially carpet-making and wood work.A little further is the best preserved forest of cedars of Morocco, where you can catch sight of Barbary apes leaping from the high branches.Along the Cedar Forest road you might even spot the famous grey swoons of the Atlas or wild boar.Explore Ifran or “little Switzerland” as you pass through the flower-lined paths and French-style architecture of this quaint little town.
